Wow, that last journal went over like a lead balloon, didn't it? But if anyone out there IS interested in a commission piece, I'd be happy to do it!

Anyway, more Psycho Squad vs. the Living Dead soon. I am really having fun working on it while I hammer out the details for Cyburg. I'm also thinking of doing pictures of all the PS officers at the time of their capture to give some insight as to who they were when they went over the edge. Most should be nice and bloody. ;)

Commissions anyone?

First off, the "mood" thing isn't working again!
I've been thinking of trying to make some money from my artwork. I love doing requests for people and do not fear...I work cheap! :) As a guideline, I'm thinking...
simple pencil sketches for $5
detailed pencil sketches $10
detailed colored pics $15-$20

Of course this is up for negotiation depending on what you want. I do NOT have a Paypal account or anything so here's what you can do.

Send me a note describing what you want me to draw. Once we settle on a price, I'll have you send me a Money Order. As soon as I get it I'll work on your drawing ASAP and send you the original. If you don't mind (and if DA will let me :D ) I'll post it for everyone to see. Like I said, I do work cheap!

Now that that's done, it's been a pretty busy month. I am plotting out the next few scenes for Psycho Squad vs The Living Dead. And I may post the Lunaville strips I have done to see what you guys think! Thanks everyone!

The trip to our Blick store in Chicago was pretty fun and very enlightening! It was a nice store. I saw Millineum Park which was pretty cool, and I had Chicago style deep dish pizza which was awesome! I went to Graham Cracker comics, got a couple back issues and a Jonah Hex graphic novel but nothing really caught my eye. I wasn't real impressed with the employees, though. I may be a "fanboy" but they just seemed overly opinionated about comics and if you weren't reading what THEY were reading, you just didn't know comics. It seemed that Image Comics was a bad word to them even though I got the feeling none of them ever actually read an Image comic. And their debate on a Wizard Magazine "top 10 superbabes"...ugh. Worst of all was when I put my comics on the counter. It was like, "oh, you are a fan of THESE characters?" I really wanted to punch the look off of that guy's face. But, they did have a TON of back issues and trade paperbacks so if I head up that way again, I'll be stopping in...I'll just ignore the "cool" employees.

I didn't make it to the 50 semi-finalists in the Comic Strip contest, but that's okay. I'm still pretty proud of the fact that I made it into the first 250, no matter how many entries there were. That doesn't mean I'm giving up! I will still work on Lunaville strips and who knows, maybe next year I'll sumbit them myself to several diffrent publishers?

This coming Saturday I'll be headed up to Chicago with some fellow co-workers for a tour of our Chicago Loop store. Sounds like we'll get a chance to walk around the area too. I think Graham Cracker Comics is right around there, so that's where I'll be most of the time! ;) If you're in the are of 42 S State Street (the Blick store) between 10am and 5 pm, maybe I'll see ya! I'm also waiting to hear from the Comic Strip Superstar contest...today they choose the next 50 finalists...no word yet. :fingerscrossed: All this antici.....pation (sorry, Rocky Horror reference) doesn't make for a creative environment for me. I hope to draw some stuff this week...we'll see. Hmmm...is that too many "..."s?
